Almost the end of Casper and Roy's StormChasing tour USA 2008: from Grand Island, Nebraska to Perry, Oklahoma

Almost the last day of our StormChase tour in the USA. We plan to go east to chase some storms forecasted for western Iowa and Missouri. Driving along interstate 80 we pass the path of the tornado near Aurora. For the first time we observe the destruction caused by a tornado. An overturned truck, broken signposts, a lot of overturned sprinklers, a severly damaged barn...
Somewhere near the stateborder of Nebraska we discover a mistake in our departuretime from Oklahoma airport. It is not 17:00 but 12:30 oeps... Now we have to change plans and head to Oklahoma via the fastest possible route. We decide not entering Iowa and Missouri but to drive south along highway 75 and following Interstate 35 from Topeka to Oklahoma.
But to compensate for the loss of our today's severe weather we decide to search for an Old Chicago restauarant. Via internet we found one located in Wichita, Kansas which we will pass at a convenient dinnertime! Sitting outsite on the terras enjoying an excellent dinner this is a perfect end of our Chasetour in the USA!
Today the last stop is at our favourite Super 8 motel near Perry in Oklahoma. Tomorrow we should be in time for our first flight from Oklahoma to Chicago.
